OUR BLOG

we dont have to use burgndys and deep blues and plums anymore.. lighten up and chill out…if you look into Turkish and Irani islamic art you will see that they used plenty of light colours and sheer materials, opaque glass and stones, intersting shapes and forms… or lets try to create our own ideas for a modern Arabesque ramadhan…

no stars.. no moons… no lanterns.

Ramadhan is about warmth of  inner peace, family, getting together with loved ones and spending quality time with them around good food and horrible tv.

(fyi we have never sat around and watched any ramadhan tv together, except there was this one show about a mafia drug family that we were addicted to.. but for all of the wrong reasons..)

Ramadhan is around the corner…

Sorry about not taking any more orderd for Girgayan, but as mentioned before pass by to see the ramadhan trays filled with dried fruits, freshly roasted nuts and desserts.

The ubiquitous strapless style has a challenger: the one-shoulder gown. Vineyard fastened theirs with a brooch for a crisp black-tie look, while Monique Lhuillier’s asymmetrical illusion neckline gave romance some edge.

This summer i have been a big fan of the one shoulder top/dress and whilst searching through bridal trends i found that its gaining a monique lhuillierlot of  strength this fall, this one is a favourite.
