This is where to go…

on the island of Anguilla in the Caribbean’s British West Indies, just five miles from St. Maarten and twenty miles from St. Barths, lies another world. One that is supremely private. Wonderfully tranquil. Comfortably removed. Amidst inlets and coves, lavish retreats and world-class dining points, the Viceroy Anguilla resort drapes across 35 picture-perfect acres where two turquoise bays meet.

Viceroy Anguilla fulfills even the most particular traveler’s notion of paradise. Along more than 3,200 feet of exclusive Caribbean beachfront, and atop a high coral point separating crystalline Barnes Bay and Meads Bay, guests bask in the innovative Kelly Wearstler design, intuitive Viceroy service, unexpected resort privileges recognized as Viceroy signatures.

From Viceroy Anguilla’s expansive resort accommodations, gourmet dining destinations, and sea-view wellness spa, to its expert personalized service and relaxed island sophistication, this is the art of the getaway.

I love Kelly Wearstler! She's one of my favorite interior designers. Her husband actually owns all of the Viceroy hotels, among others, which explain why she designed the hotels. Nepotism is the only factor which led her to design the hotels; of course, she's very talented. She's done a FABULOUS job at the BG restaurant at Bergdorf Goodman. Whenever I'm in New York, lunch or especially afternoon tea at BG is a MUST! Moreover, I love her style. It's so quirky and out there, yet chic and classy at the same time. She loves to take risks and she pushes the envelope to the max. She never plays it safe, and that's why I'm in awe of her work and personality. I see the same elements and aesthetics in your work too, Bibi. What I mean is that you never play it safe and love to present something fresh and original, rather than it being generic and mundane. I'm glad to see that you're changing the design philosophy in Kuwait; and you've certainly opened up people's eyes and tastes to something that is other than the norm.
